The Role

We are looking for a talented and detail-oriented Website Designer to join our creative team. You will be the architect behind the digital front door for churches across the country. Your primary focus will be conceptualizing and building high-converting, aesthetically stunning websites from scratch, as well as refining and updating existing sites to ensure they stay modern and functional.

Key Responsibilities

  • New Website Design: Build beautiful, responsive, and user-friendly websites from the ground up that align with each church’s unique brand and mission.

  • Website Maintenance & Edits: Perform regular updates, design refreshes, and structural edits to existing client websites.

  • Visual Storytelling: Use layout, typography, and imagery to create a compelling digital experience for church congregants and visitors.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with our strategy and account teams to translate client goals into functional design elements.

  • Quality Assurance: Ensure all sites are optimized for mobile, SEO-friendly, and maintain high performance across all browsers.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of professional experience specifically in WordPress website design.

  • Technical Mastery: Expert-level proficiency with WordPress and the Divi Page Builder. You should know the ins and outs of Divi modules, theme options, and custom CSS.

  • Design Eye: A strong portfolio demonstrating a clean, modern aesthetic and a deep understanding of UI/UX principles.

  • Adaptability: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, remote environment.

  • Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to take feedback and iterate quickly.

  • Mission-Aligned: A passion for helping churches and non-profits expand their reach through technology.
